AI SEO services
Everything included, priced before you commit
Our AI SEO service runs in four parts: an audit, the technical fixes, content engines can quote, and daily measurement across six AI surfaces. Scope and price are agreed before any work starts.
01
The AI SEO audit
Every engagement starts here, and you can buy it on its own.
Four things decide whether an AI engine can use your business as a source.
- AI crawler access. Whether the bots behind ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI are allowed to read your site at all. This is the most common blocker we find, and it is usually accidental.
- Structured data. Whether your markup actually describes what you do, where you work and what you sell.
- Page structure. Whether your pages contain statements an engine can lift: headings that match real questions, clear definitions, specifics rather than adjectives.
- Metadata. Whether titles and descriptions identify your business and what it does, in that order.
You get a score for each area, findings in plain English, and a fix list ordered by impact and marked for who should do it.
02
What is included in an ongoing engagement
- The fixes, done rather than recommended, if you want us to do them.
- Content built to be quoted. Engines preferentially absorb specifics: prices and ranges, dates, definitions, comparisons. We write for that, and it tends to be the content buyers like too.
- Pages for the questions buyers actually ask an engine, which is rarely the keyword a tool suggests.
- Daily tracking in Samurai Visibility across six AI surfaces, with a verified baseline taken before the work starts.
- First-party tracking installed on your site so AI crawler visits, AI referrals and enquiries are recorded rather than guessed at.
03
How we measure it
We sample six AI surfaces every day: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. For every buyer question we track, we record whether you were named, whether you were cited with a link, and which competitors were named alongside you.
That matters because AI visibility is not a stable ranking. Independent measurement puts day to day overlap in the sources AI engines cite at roughly 0.34 to 0.42, so one check on one day tells you very little. A screenshot of a flattering ChatGPT answer is not evidence. A daily series across six engines is.
04
Where we have proof
We work across the UK events industry: stand designers and contractors, furniture and equipment hire, lighting, AV and production, organisers, venues, caterers and planners. That is where our measured results are.
One exhibition client went from a verified zero to being named in 17.5% of answers across six engines in eight weeks. Verified means we confirmed the absence was real at the start, not a measurement failure, by checking that competitors were correctly detected in the same answers.
We are deliberately specific about the sector because it is where we can show you numbers rather than describe a process. If you are outside events we will tell you honestly on the call whether we are the right fit.
05
Price, scope and what happens next
Scope and price are agreed on the free intro call, before you commit to anything. Pricing depends on the size of your site and how many commercial pages need work.
There is no obligation to buy ongoing work after an audit. Plenty of businesses take the fix list to their own developer, and that is a fine outcome. If you want the fixes done and the results tracked, we will quote for that separately.
06
What we will not promise
Two things we will not claim, because the evidence does not support them.
AI engines do not send much traffic yet. Independent panel data puts referrals from AI assistants at under 1% of all web traffic. The value of being named is that a buyer arrives already knowing who you are, or searches for you directly later. It is rarely a click you can watch happen.
Attribution is early. We install first-party tracking that records AI crawler visits, AI referrals and enquiries, so the picture sharpens over time. Anyone promising you a tidy lead count from ChatGPT today is guessing.
What we can show you is measured: how often each engine names you, whether it links to you, and who it names instead.
Common questions
Can I buy just the audit?
Yes. It is a standalone piece of work and the fix list is yours to do what you like with, including handing it to your own developer.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the size of your site and how many commercial pages need work. Scope and a fixed price are agreed on the free intro call before you commit to anything.
How is an AI SEO audit different from a normal SEO audit?
A traditional audit is built around ranking in a list of links. This is built around being named inside an answer. They overlap, because being retrievable by ordinary search is the biggest factor in whether an engine can cite you, but the questions asked of the site are different.
Will this harm our existing Google rankings?
It should not, and we watch for it. There is published evidence that optimising page bodies purely for citation can reduce ordinary search presence, so we treat retrieval and citation as a single problem rather than trading one for the other.
How long before anything changes?
Technical fixes can change whether an engine is able to cite you within weeks. Becoming one of the names an engine reaches for takes longer and depends partly on how widely your business is described across the web. You see the daily measurement throughout either way.
