Is your website ready for AI search? A checklist for events businesses

An AI can only recommend a website it can actually read. Here is a quick checklist to gauge how ready yours is.

By Steven Cox

An AI can only recommend a site it can understand. Plenty of events websites look great to people but are hard for a machine to read, so the models skim straight past them. Here is a quick way to gauge where yours stands.

The checklist

  • The key facts (what you do, who you serve, where you operate) are in real text, not locked inside images or a slider.
  • Your services and sector are named in plain language a model can match to a buyer's question.
  • Your pages have a clear structure with proper headings, not just big styled text.
  • Your business facts are marked up with structured data, so machines read them unambiguously.
  • Your name, contact details and reviews are consistent everywhere they appear online.
  • Your site loads fast and cleanly, without important content that only appears after heavy scripts run.

How many did you tick?

If you are missing more than a couple, AI models are probably struggling to read and recommend you, however good the business actually is. The good news is that most of it is fixable, and a clean foundation helps you with Google at the same time.

The easiest way to find out

We build events businesses a free website designed to be read cleanly by both Google and the AI models. It is the simplest way to go from guessing about your AI visibility to actually knowing.
